PROJECT TWO

PANEL ONE

PANEL ONE REFLECTION

Panel one was very fun to create. I was able to put my new bootstrap skills to the test, especially my grid knowledge. Learning about the grid was scarier than actually doing it. Luckily, I was able to grasp the concept quickly and understand the structure. I think I struggled with personalizing this panel. Everything was already created and made for me, so it was hard to input my own style into the elements. When I created the first project from scratch, it felt a little more personalized. Besides this struggle, I'm very proud of how the site turned out. It's responsive and adapts to the user! I really like the button where Charlie and Beni pop out at you. It made me laugh creating it. I would love to learn how to use the grid in a more advanced way besides for pictures and text.

PANEL TWO

PANEL TWO REFLECTION

Panel two was very simple. It was really neat being able to find an online template that was almost fully functional. I think the skill I got from here was learning to be more efficient at finding what needs to be changed. I practiced typing out the pathways in the code when putting in a new picture. Although the template was made and I didn't edit it, I'm still very proud of how pretty the site looks. In the future, I think I would like to learn how to code some of these elements on the site. The moving picture and the progress bars are neat, as well as the portfolio section.

PANEL THREE

PANEL THREE REFLECTION

Panel three was the most difficult part of this whole project. I definitely acquired some skills like being able to identify what part of the site correlates to what code in both the HTML and CSS file. I also put my styling skills to use, like implementing Google fonts. With this being said, I struggled to identify parts of the site. At times it felt like the code didn't match up and the inspect element was confusing me even more. I'm proud of eventually figuring those things out. I'm proud of how I somewhat maintained the style of the site (I really liked the style from panel two), but personalized it. I utilized a color palette site and changed the buttons, progress bars, etc. I would like to work on identifying parts of the site more in the future. I think I will need that practice.
