The Vermin Scale, or the V Scale, is a rating system that grades boulder problems on its difficulty. Sometimes a "+" or "-" will be added to specify if it's on the harder or easier side of the spectrum of its grade. For example a V4+ is a more difficult V4, while a V4- is on the easier side of a V4.
REFLECTION
While completing this project, I have learned new skills and faced challenges. Coding this site allowed me to memorize tags and the HTML & CSS "lingo." I learned how to put text on top of an image (as you can see above) and dived deeper into CSS styles. At times, my difficulties could be solved by fixing a simple typo. Other times required me to frantically search online for a solution. Playing around with the CSS box model challenged me the most. I am very proud of how my personal page on this project turned out. I searched up how to create a scroll of images, which allowed me to display my pictures nicely. I also enjoyed getting to create a color palette. This sport means a lot to me. It opened my eyes in many ways, and it challenges me physically and mentally. Creating this site around my hobby was a great experience. In the future, I hope to learn how to make my site more engaging and interactive. I also hope to create more personal, meaningful projects like this.
